LORESUM LS01 The Railway Map
LORESUM LS01 – The Railway Map
Topological time, in structured motion.
In 1933, Harry Beck revolutionized cartography with his first topological map of the London Underground. The LS01 pays homage to this graphic vision by transposing its principles into a unique horological architecture—a blend of legibility, structure, and depth.
Regulator reading, multidimensional design
Featuring a distinctive regulator module, the LS01 separates the hours and minutes for a smooth and intuitive reading. Its rotating sapphire crystal discs glide across a skeleton dial, revealing the internal gears with each winding. An automatic mechanism powered by the Japanese Miyota 9015 movement, renowned for its reliability.
Horological cartography, a three-dimensional aesthetic
The LS01 combines a 2D view inspired by railway maps with 3D elements evoking a cross-section. Directional lines, concentric circles, superimposed levels: every detail evokes a network in motion. A visual homage to Beck's functional simplicity, reinterpreted in a mechanical work of art.
