OVD didn't simply draw the moon on a dial. The brand sought to give it a substance, a relief, and almost a texture that one would want to touch.

This is how the OVD MØ:ARK Concrete X Lunar was born, a moon phase watch whose dial is actually made of concrete.

A rather unexpected choice in watchmaking.

Each dial begins with a three-dimensional model designed to reproduce the lunar topography down to its craters, ridges, and irregularities. A proprietary blend of high-performance concrete is then hand-poured into a micro-mold, left to cure under controlled conditions, and then individually polished and sealed.

The result is fascinating: beneath its apparent simplicity lies a veritable miniature lunar landscape , whose matte finish subtly catches the light and reveals the reliefs with the movements of the wrist.

Above this mineral surface, the phase of the moon slowly evolves. OVD deliberately chose not to make it a cold and complex astronomical instrument, but a poetic representation of the lunar cycle where light and darkness succeed one another day after day.

And when night falls, the watch reveals a second face.

Thanks to Super-LumiNova , the moon and stars illuminate above the concrete dial, suddenly bringing this mineral landscape to life. What appeared as minimalist lunar architecture during the day then transforms into a true night sky on the wrist.

All around, the gently lined case has been deliberately reduced visually to a minimum. Its three-part construction and particularly thin bezel offer the dial maximum opening: here, nothing should distract from the Moon.

Available in five versions , playing on the colors of the dial, case and bracelet, the MØ:ARK allows this same lunar architecture to adopt very different personalities, from the most mineral to the most contemporary.

But its uniqueness doesn't stop at its design.

The OVD MØ is an individually numbered edition of 299 copies and produced only once .
