About the model
There are watches whose time we check. And those whose time we end up forgetting to check because the mechanics captivate all our attention.
The GearMagus MS10 clearly belongs to the second category.
At 9 o'clock, its spectacular three-dimensional tourbillon seems to literally emerge from the dial. Unlike a conventional tourbillon that rotates on a horizontal plane, its raised construction gives volume to the mechanism and allows the balance wheel and escapement to be observed from different perspectives.
And the spectacle never truly stops: the tourbillon completes a full rotation every 30 seconds . Twice a minute, this mechanical architecture performs its ballet before your eyes, giving the MS10 that rare sensation of wearing a true kinetic sculpture on your wrist.
The entire dial, in fact, seems to have been built around it.
Rather than a perfectly symmetrical composition, GearMagus plays with volumes and complications. The hours and minutes are deliberately off-center at 3 o'clock in an elegant silver subdial with Roman numerals and blued hands. At 12 o'clock, a day/night indicator appears, combined with a moon phase display, while a small, fan-shaped seconds hand balances the lower part of the dial.
In the background, the salmon-colored dial with its barleycorn guilloché pattern brings an almost unexpected sophistication to this radical mechanical architecture. Depending on the light, its hues shift from champagne to rose copper, creating a fascinating contrast between classic watchmaking and contemporary mechanics.
It is probably this mix that makes the MS10 so unique.
On one side, the codes of fine traditional watchmaking: Roman numerals, blued hands, guilloché, moon phase.
On the other hand, a three-dimensional spatial vortex that seems to belong to another era.
And despite this mechanical profusion, GearMagus has achieved something quite remarkable: the MS10 measures only 39 mm in diameter and 10.9 mm in thickness . Where some open tourbillon watches become imposing on the wrist, this one retains the proportions and elegance of a true dress watch.
Produced in only 100 examples , the GearMagus MS10 Three-Dimensional Tourbillon combines the fascination of a spectacular mechanism with a rarity that naturally destines it for collectors of extraordinary horological creations.
A watch that one does not choose simply to possess a tourbillon, but to be able to observe it beat, rotate and evolve in three dimensions on the wrist — and to feel that little moment of fascination again each time the gaze returns to it.
