The BA111OD CHPTR_Δ.3 MdP completely reinvents the way we read time thanks to a fascinating hypocycloidal complication where the hour hand no longer rotates around a conventional axis but evolves along a dynamic and hypnotic triangular trajectory.
Developed with independent watchmaker Olivier Mory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, this unique mechanical architecture transforms the dial into a veritable kinetic stage where the hours slow down, speed up, and continuously change direction in a captivating choreography.
Instead of a traditional circular rotation, a satellite hour wheel revolves around a fixed central wheel, creating a unique deltoid trajectory in watchmaking, the tip of which traces an asymmetrical triangle in constant motion.
This non-circular reading of time immediately provides a different, more organic and vibrant sensation, where the mechanics seem almost to breathe in rhythm with the dial. Presented here in a particularly expressive blue version, the CHPTR_Δ.3 MdP further enhances this impression of architectural depth thanks to its multi-layered dial in matte satin-finished steel, its polished faceted triangle, and its subtly integrated yellow graphic details.
Powered by a Swiss Soprod M100 automatic movement enhanced with the in-house BA111OD 09310 module, this creation asserts a truly independent horological ambition where mechanical innovation, a strong visual identity, and Swiss craftsmanship advance together with rare coherence.
