More than a billion kilometers from Earth, Saturn hides at its north pole a gigantic jet stream forming an almost perfect hexagon. It is this extraordinary phenomenon, studied by the Cassini mission, that ANICORN has chosen to transform into a timepiece.
The Cassini Nemesis echoes this geometry even in its all-black hexagonal case. But it's the dial that truly captivates: a large, rotating central disc dominates the watch, revealing the time through an aperture, opposite numerals with an almost digital aesthetic. As it rotates, the entire assembly creates a hypnotic visual effect reminiscent of Saturn's polar vortex.
Beneath its imposing domed sapphire crystal , the dial also reveals the coordinates and scientific data related to Saturn's Hexagon, while a blue Super-LumiNova illuminates another face in the dark. Even the crown and seconds hand extend the watch's hexagonal design.
Entirely black, individually numbered, and delivered with two straps—black PVD steel and FKM rubber —the Cassini Nemesis extends its universe to its sapphire crystal case back, which reveals a movement specially reworked for ANICORN. More than a space-inspired watch, it's a fragment of one of Saturn's great mysteries transposed to the wrist .
