The BASE60 mechanical watch is currently the world's thinnest wandering hour watch.
Have you ever thought about how time is divided into seconds, minutes, and hours? The accuracy of a watch depends on this! The ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia discovered about 5,100 years ago that the smallest number divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 is 60. Sixty is a highly composite number because it is more divisible than any lower positive number. The Babylonians used this sexagesimal counting system for astronomy, circular geometry, calendar, and timekeeping: it is simply called Base 60. So, 60 seconds make a minute; 60 minutes make an hour. Angles Watche has streamlined the way each hour now spans these 60 minutes when displayed on your wrist.
Unlike other watches, the BASE60 displays the time using a system called wandering hour. The readability is clear and precise: the time is displayed in a window and moves counterclockwise on the fixed minute register. As the hour advances, it points to the current minute.
